Sunny days, funny stories!

Some details of my work life with Marko and Ariana...


Use your beautiful imagination and think that the following text is narrowed by the babies I was looking after, Ariana and Marko, that's so fun!

May and June brought summer. Here are some snippets of our life in the last two months. Time went so fast after we came back from our easter vacation in Belgium: always an activity or a party. Mom got especially busy; her Greek colleagues suddenly realised that there wasn’t as much as “plenty of time” as before. So our nanny stayed with us some evenings: it was so nice  !

Playing in the sand at the National Park, particularly in the early morning is one of our favourite activities. There is barely any children; it is still cool enough; and we can also play in the shade.

Some evenings we also went for a walk (also to escape from the heat of the day). And if our nanny is brave enough, she lets us loose a little too! We can run after pigeons, look for kitty cats or play hide-and-seek.

In May, Ariana had her first homework! "I had to illustrate a fairy tale in a shoe-box lid. We had fun making this with Haritini one afternoon. Here is the result. Can you guess which story we made?"

But partying and having fun was not only for us it seems. The upstairs neighbours too were enjoying life, albeit a little too loud . We were all so tired one day after a very very loud party (cf. one of our previous posts): Mom had barely slept and Ariana… Well, she pretended she had slept very well, but this is how my nanny found me after eating lunch early in the afternoon!
